Bass - Bob Smith Bob was born in Michigan, but has lived in Missouri most of his life. He is blessed to have both of his parents, both being in their late 80’s, four sisters, (one sister is with the Lord) and a brother. Bob is the youngest, or the baby, as his mom would say. Bob gives praise to God that his parents and siblings know Jesus Christ as their Savior.
Bob started singing at an early age with his family. His dad started him on the guitar at the age on seven. In later years while living in Strafford Missouri, his family held church services at the 76 truck stop, before attending their own local church. This was a real blessing for Bob to be in this type of setting – “It was awesome to hear men share their experience with Christ and to see some come to know Jesus as their Savior.” In 1971 the family moved to Kansas City, Missouri. In 1972 Bob and Yvonna were married – “She is the best gift that God has ever blessed me with.” In 1976 Bob and Yvonna were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Stacey Leigh and again in 1978 with the birth of their son, Robert Dean. They have three granddaughters and two grandsons. Bob emphasizes what a tremendous gift from God it is to have his family. In 1981 the Smiths moved from Kansas City to Lee’s Summit, Missouri, where they attended a Baptist church. This is where Bob came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Bob states, “I played church for several years. I had the head knowledge of Christ but I did not have the heart knowledge of knowing Him as my personal Lord and Savior.”
Bob has always had the desire to sing Gospel music. In 1984, Bob auditioned and sang with the first quartet, Canaan Land Quartet. In 1989 he joined the Fishers Of Men Quartet (later trio), were he sang for twenty years. There was a dry period in Bob’s life where he wasn’t singing very much. During this time is when the Lord allowed him to cross paths with Danny Roberts. This was when Bob first heard of 4 His Love Music Ministry. Bob praises God that he brought Danny and he together to re-organize 4 His Love Music Ministries. As only said best in Bob’s own words, “We are being blessed as we travel and meet the people that God is allowing us to minister to. We thank God for the opportunity to serve Him through Gospel Music. The mission of 4 His Love is to see men, women, boys and girls, to come to the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Baritone - Jeff Rudloff
Jeff's first opportunity to sing in public came at age three, when he joined his mother and two aunts as they sang from time to time in local churches for revivals and special services. His mom took him to his first Southern Gospel concert - featuring the Couriers, the Speers, the Statesmen and the Harvesters - when he was five. No other music has ever taken Southern Gospel music's place.
Jeff committed his life to Christ at age 17, and soon after started playing the piano for a local soloist. That grew into a lifelong relationship with Jeff Steinberg Ministries, which has included stints as pianist, vocalist, songwriter, booking and management coordinator. The two Jeffs continue their relationship to this day. In addition, Jeff has served in pastoral ministries in Pennsylvania and Iowa for 17 years, and has also been a worship leader and minister of music, along with a 4-year stint as tenor singer for a local quartet in PA.
Jeff met his wife, Joan, in the college choir during their years at Houghton College, where Jeff earned a degree in Psychology and Biblical Studies. In June 2012, they celebrated their 34th anniversary together.
He recently moved from Iowa to Missouri to join 4 His Love, and is truly excited about the possibility of returning to the music he loves so much after so many years! He brings to the group not only his smooth baritone vocals and offbeat sense of humor, but also his abilities as a keyboard player and songwriter. Jeff looks forward to sharing his new songs with 4 His Love audiences all over the Midwest and as far a field as God allows them to go!
Tenor - Jeremy Pope
In December, 1976, Jeremy's parents brought him home from the hospital and lulled him to sleep to the sound of Southern Gospel radio. He has loved it ever since. While listening to Evie sing "Born Again" at the age of six, Jeremy asked what it meant. His Mom explained it to him and his Dad led him in the sinner's prayer. He never strayed from that commitment to Jesus Christ. He began singing to crowds and at church at the age of four when he attended concerts by the Gospelaires, a local group that his Dad played drums for. He continued to sing throughout his school years, learning fundamentals of singing in the high school choir.
Jeremy's first priority, besides his relationship with Jesus Christ, is his family. He and his wife, Kelly, their son, Thomas and daughter, Hannah live in Kearney, MO, and attend the First Baptist Church of Kearney, where Jeremy sings in the choir and serves as an ordained deacon. A hunting accident in November, 2009 left him without the use of his right hand. Following a month in the hospital and seven surgeries, he says the only thing he lost that night was his ability to depend on himself. It reinforced in Jeremy's life the importance of investing in the Kingdom of God, which lasts forever, instead of "my own little kingdom", which is destined to pass away.
Jeremy's desire is to continue to be used by God by taking the message of Jesus Christ to everyone he can, through his God-given talent of singing. Jeremy joined 4 His Love January 2013.
Camden has been singing from the congregation and with children's choirs since he was old enough to sing. He taught himself guitar and started singing with the youth praise team when he was 16. God has led him to serve in Worship Praise Band at his home church as well as leading worship at special activities in the area. Sharing God through music is a large part of Camden's life
